The Committee meets once a month, and is open for all tribal members to attend. If you would like to be an the agenda, please call to let us know. We welcome new ideas and suggestions. The Education Committee has grown a lot in the last ten years. We meet during the summer and do a planning session for the next school year. Student Acvbsoev SqueigeI The members include: Lisa Leno, Dana Leno, Bryan Mercier, Shelby Olson, and other college students that can't be on full time but enjoy helping out. This group was formed to work with our younger children, and to give us information on how to best help our college students. If any of our tribal members would like more information about the Student Advisory Council please write or call. Youth Glub GoiancBl The Native American Club has established this council. Members of the Youth Club Council are Bri Leno, Joe Mercier, Brandy Leno, Brian Krehbiel, and Sol George. This group is high school age, and they meet at least once a month. They will fund-raise to pay for activities they would like to attend. This group works a lot with the middle school students, and hopes to help them form a group. Then they will work with the younger children. All of the members on the Youth Club Council and Student Advisory Council work very hard. The presidents of both groups attend the Education Committee meeting each month to give re ports. Also attending the monthly Education Committee meetings is the Education staff who share their program reports and brainstorm with us.
