Student Acvbsoev SqueigeI
The members include: Lisa Leno, Dana Leno, Bryan Mercier, Shelby Olson, and other college
students that can't be on full time but enjoy helping out. This group was formed to work with our
younger children, and to give us information on how to best help our college students. If any of
our tribal members would like more information about the Student Advisory Council please write
or call.
Youth Glub GoiancBl
The Native American Club has established this council. Members of the Youth Club Council
are Bri Leno, Joe Mercier, Brandy Leno, Brian Krehbiel, and Sol George. This group
is high school age, and they meet at least once a month. They will fund-raise to pay for activities
they would like to attend. This group works a lot with the middle school students, and hopes to
help them form a group. Then they will work with the younger children.
All of the members on the Youth Club Council and Student Advisory Council work very hard.
The presidents of both groups attend the Education Committee meeting each month to give re
ports. Also attending the monthly Education Committee meetings is the Education staff who share
their program reports and brainstorm with us.
To get in touch with the Education Committee please contact Darlene Aaron at (503) 876
5795 or write to her at P.O. Box 2 1 7, Willamina, OR 97396.
