The Health Program will use the data from this survey to build the health services for our members. The winners of the $50 certificates were Nancy Renfrow and Kevin Schultz. Tribal home remodeled We would like to thank Eagle Feather Construction, BIA, Lonnie Leno, Linda Layden, and Tribal Council for the re modeling of our home to make it a safer place to live. We appreciate and thank you so much. Richard and Vivian McKnight Funeral appreciation We would like to thank the Tribe for the contribution regarding the burial and food fund. It was very nice to have help with the food at the reception following the funeral. We also appreciate the sincere concerns of sympathy from tribal and community members. I live in Gig Harbor, Wash ington, which is a little fisherman town across the Narrows Bridge from Tacoma, Washington. We moved here in 1956 when we didn't like living in a larger place. I belong to "Eastern Star." I am a past "Royal Matron" of Holly Court. I also be longed to the Amateur Garden Club, but don't go anymore, as we spend our winters in Arizona. While there, I learned to tap dance and do the hula. My hobbies include painting, crafts and bowling. I also like to crochet afghans, bedspreads and tablecloths. I love to work in the garden with flowers. I live in a mobile home court. We have a small swimming pool and a recreation hall. It's not a big mobile court. My mother and father are Walter Lampard and Grace Jones Lampard. I have a brother Ralph Lampard and sister Florence Lampard. I just lost my husband on June 8, 1995. Don't know what I will be doing this win ter. Both of my daughters live close by, so they are a big help to me now. Sincerely, Elsie M. Cummings Lack of federal funds delays energy assistance program Due to the uncertainty of federal funding, the general Low Income Energy Assistance Program will not start until January 2, 1996. In accordance with federal guidelines giving first preference to seniors and to disabled clients, the very limited existing funds have been allocated and exhausted. While additional funds are anticipated, amounts are unknown and severe cuts expected. After January 2, 1996 appointments may be scheduled by calling the office in the area where the applicants live.
