MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING: High School graduate or equivalency and one year experience in Fish and Wildlife activities; current andor re cent Fish and Wildlife curriculum. KNOWLEDGE OF: A good overall understanding of Fish and Wildlife practices; basic knowledge of methods, practices and procedures of stream sur veying, monitoring and data collection; and safety practices in area of responsibility. ABILITY TO: Make accurate mathematical com putations; communicate effectively both verbally and in writing; work in adverse weather conditions and walk over steep terrain; maintain an effective working relationship with other employees. SKILL IN: The use of Fish and Wildlife related in struments; and operating a computer. NECESSARY SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: Must be willing to work flexible hours, including evening and weekends; must be in good physical condi tion; possession or ability to obtain a valid Oregon driver's license; and must have a safe driving record. The Commission will have 5 members (3 will be tribal members and 2 will be non-tribal). This is an important high-profile issues position that will include the following duties: Re view gaming licenses for management and key employees; process and issue such licenses to qualified persons; facilitate and conduct background checks as appropriate; print and distribute forms and licenses; collect license fees; inspect gaming premisesequipment; review gaming contracts; pro mulgate and amend regulations; and, impose civil penalties or other sanctions. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: 4 years of relevant experience. Knowledge of regulations and gaming preferred. Must be at least 25 years of age.
