r Smoke Signals September 1990 PaSe3 Fun RunWalk is a Success The third annual Spirit Mountain Fun RunWalk was held on August 18th, 1990. The event had approximately 200 participants from local communities and there were also a number of visitors from other states. Winners in the run are as follows: 1 Mile Run MALE: 1st place - Greg Leno FEMALE: 1st place - Hollic Ashman 5K Run MALE: 1st place - Mario Ortiz FEMALE: 1st place - Diane Pyle TIME: 6:12 7:49 TIME: 9:45 30:17 10K Run MALE: TIME: 1st place Stan Knecland " 33:39 FEMALE: 1st place - Pat Fasana 52:15 A special "Thank you" to volunteers for making the RunWalk a great success. Volunteers include: Teresa Bailey, Ed and Shirley Larscn, Rick McKnight, Tom Leno, Shonn Leno, Tersa Aaron, Monte Ring, Christie Loomis, Nona Jackson, Vivian McKnight, Barbara Stecrc, Larry Brandon, The Yamhill County Sheriffs Department, Connie Monson, Colleen Kimsey, Mary Brickell, Teri Holsclaw, Jackie Colton, Angie Leno, Jim Willis, and Brent Merrill. Sponsors for the RunWalk were Eyvctte's Brookside Deli, Spirit Mountain Construction Inc., First Interstate Bank of Oregon, Bob Mercicr and Associates, Taylor Lumber & Treating Inc., Dr. James Molloy, Willamina Drug Store, The Corner Store, Fort Hill Lounge, Ray McKnight, Jim Willis, The Tribal Health Program and The Confederated Tribes of Grand Rondc.
