Royalty Committee The Royalty Committee would like you to know that the Grand Ronde Tribal float received third place at the Phil Sheridan Days Parade. We would like to thank everyone who helped with the preparation of the float and to those who participated in the parade with us. Thank You! The Royalty Court was introduced at the Sheridan Rodeo before Jr. Miss Grand Ronde signed the Lord's Prayer as part of the opening ceremonies. The weekend of June 22-24th, the Court attended Piume-sha Treaty Days in Warm Springs and on the Fourth of July in the Willamina parade. Each of these girls work very hard to represent the Tribe as best they can. They put in a lot of time traveling to pow-wows around the state. Also to youth meetings and Tribal gatherings. You can show your support for these girls and for pow wow by buying raffle tickets that the Court is selling. Any money made from raffle ticket sales goes to help support the cost of the pow-wows. The Jr. Miss Grand Ronde 1990-91 pageant will be Friday, August 17th, 1990 at 6:30 pm at the Grand Ronde Grade School. The Jr. Princesses are Tara Leno, Ronaele Loomis and Krystal Schmid. The crowning of the new Jr. Miss Grand Ronde will take place at the end of the pageant friday night.
