ENROLLMENT POW-WOW COMMITTEE Dear Fellow Tribal Members and Friends; Our Tribal membership now totals 2021. Con gratulations to our new members! In addition to preparing enrollment files I have been developing the Tribal I.D. cards procedure. At this time the tentative date of issuance is March or April. A schedule is being arranged to make a visit to each of the six counties in our service area. Next month's newsletter will contain the updated infor mation. There are still many incomplete enrollment files on hand. If you have not received an enrollment number, please contact me. Anyone without an enrollment number will NOT receive an I.D. card. Please remember that the en rollment procedure takes about 3 weeks. After the files are completed, they are reviewed by the Enrollment Committee. The Enrollment Committee makes their recommendation to the Tribal Council, who in turn approve the new members. The enrollment numbers are not is sued as soon as a file is completed. Many of my clients have informed me of their change of address. Thank-you! If you have not informed me of any address change, please do. It is very important to our Tribal pro grams to know where our members are living. I will be working with our new staff member, Greg Archuleta, who has been hired to develop a Fish and Game program for future use. Greg will accompany me to issue the I.D. cards, so take advantage of the chance to meet him. . We will be working out of the office periodically, but the secretary will have a schedule and will be able to inform you of our return. If you are from out of town, please call ahead to be sure that I am in. I have been issued a Not arial Commission, and offer the service of a Notary Public to Tribal members free of charge. If you have any questions, please call or write to me in care of this office. A Pow-Wow Committee meeting will be held after the General Council meeting on Feb ruary 1.
