As a staff member of our tribal office, I can see first hand how much time and effort the Tribal Council spends working for us. I wish to thank the Council and the other staff members for the hard work that keeps our Tribe functioning. I am very proud to be a member of the Confederated Tribes of the Grand Ronde Community of Oregon. In the month of October there were 54 applicants approved for Tribal membership. I would like to extend my congradulations for each of our new members. I attended a tribal enrollment workshop on October 29,30, and 31 in Roseburg, Oregon. I'm grateful for the opportunity to learn to serve my tribe better. It was very informative and helped me to organize my day to day working procedure. I hope that I will be able to answer questions and concerns more accurately then I've done in the past. If you have any questions concerning the enrollment procedure, please feel free to call or write to me. I can be reached at the Depot Tribal office, Monday through Friday. My hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. I can be called at 879-5215. Our office is closed from noon to 1 p.m. daily for lunch break. Enjoy the Thanksgiving Holiday! Sincerely, Margo George 0 Enrollment Clerk j SPORTS AWARDS The Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde would like to give a "congratulatory hand" to the following tribal members who were given awards in football, volleyball and cross country, at the annual fall dessert banquet Nov. 7, in the Willamina High School Auditorium.
