HEALTH NOTES REMINDER As Western Oregon Service Unit needs to keep current information on those who use Indian Health Service, it requires that tribal members complete health care service applications on a yearly basis. If you have not completed an application for 1985, please call the Tribal Health Office and let us know the number of applications needed and your current address. If you are a tribal member living outside of the service are (Multnomah, Marion, Polk, Washington, Tillamook, Yamhill) or out of state, you still need to get your health care service application in. All health care funding is dependent upon the tribal head count, and everyone needs to be counted. Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Health Board Committee Candidates are still being sought to serve on the Health Board Committee. Requirements to serve on the Health Board Committee is to be at least 18 years of age, enrolled member of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde and interested in the health of the Confederated Tribes of Grand Ronde Indian members. I have handed in my resignation and my last day as your Community Health Nurse will be August 15. I have enjoyed meeting you in your homes or at the Depoe Office, and providing whatever help I could.
