T h e m eetin g is set fo r Tuesday, M arch 8, a t the C om m unity C en ter social hall. The meeting will be open throughout the day, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., to allow people time to stop by. T h e m em b e rsh ip ap- $500,000 grant for Housing projects proved the cannabis project in D e c e m b e r 2015. T he Warm Springs Ventures team and Tribal Council have been working toward opening the growing operation later this year. Ventures has identified a company that will manufac ture the greenhouse, and also has secured funding for the project. A question is the location o f the facility. Locations that have been mentioned include Lower D ry Creek; an area by the mill; the industrial park; or at one o f the tribal farm areas. O n hand for the meeting on March 8 will be Ventures representatives, and tribal committee members, such as the Land Use Planning, and Culture and Heritage com mittees. H ousing received an In dian Com m unity D evelop m en t B lock G ra n t in the amount o f $500,000 to com plete some o f the work. Units to see improvements include Elk Loop apartments, an d se n io r h o u sin g at Simnasho, said Scott Moses, Housing director.
