She started nine o f them. . . Scott is 6 -fo o t-l, and plays guard for the Aggies. She is a 2012 graduate o f M adras H ig h S choo l, where she averaged 22.3 points per game. T he Aggies finished 7- 11 in the WAC, and 15- 16 overall: T h is w as a nine-game im provem ent over last year’s record o f 6-25. S c o tt a v e ra g e d 4.7 points per game her first y ear a t N ew M ex ico Abby Scott State, located in Las Cruces. She scored a total 145 points in 420 m inutes total playing time. The Warm Springs Rodeo Association will present the Root Feast Kids Rodeo and O pen Jackpot Rodeo on Sat urday and Sunday, April 27- 28. Admission is $3. The Kids Rodeo on Sat urday starts at 11 a.m. This is for all youth ages ,0-17. The Saturday events are H e r b e s t gam e w as against conference-lead ing U tah State. Committee sets fishing regulations T he Warm Springs Fish and Wildlife Committee, un d er th e a u th o riz a tio n o f Tribal Council, has. set the following fisheries: ' Sherars Falls Spring Chi nook D ue to the low predicted retu rn o f spring chinook, special rules have b een a d o p te d to p ro te c t w ild salmon while still allowing fishing for hatchery salmon. Fishing is open at Sherars Falls until May 25 for hatch ery salmon and steelhead. F ro m M ay 26—July 15 fishing will be open seven days per week for hatchery fish. After July 15 all fish, with the exception o f sock eye and unmarked steelhead, may be retained. Fishing is allowed from scaffolds or by ho o k and line. Scaffolds m ust be at- tended continuouslyantl ae& and hoops mdst be attached to a pole. Fishermen may use one pole containingup to two single hooks. This is a sub sistence fishery, no s’ales are allowed. Fish must be made available to Branch o f N atu ral Resources staff for moni toring and enforcement. For the remainder o f the D eschutes River, open to July 15 for hatchery chinook and steelhead. O ther salmon species may be retained ex cept for sockeye. Hood Riyer Spring Fish eries H o o d R iv er is o p en through July 15 for spring chinook salm on w ith the exception o f the following areas th at are closed year round: - O ne hundred feet up or downstream from the Dee Mill fish trap in the E ast Fork o f H ood River - In the entire West Fork o f H ood River upstream o f Green Point Creek and, -In the entire length of Rogers Creek, a tributary o f the Middle Fork o f H ood River. O nly m arked h atchery chinook may be retained. O ther salmon species may be retained during the spring chinook season. John Day Spring Fisheries The John Day River up to the upstream boundary o f th e Sheep R ock N atio n al M onum ent is open through July 15 for spring chinook salmon. Both marked and un marked chinook may be re tained. H atchery steelhead may also be retained. Special Fishery below Bonneville Dam Due to the predicted low run size spring chinook fish ing below Bonneville D am is on hold until morë informa tion can be obtained. Mini marathon at KNT on Saturday The Kah-Nee-Ta Mini Marathon is on Saturday, April 20 at the Kah-Nee- Ta Resort and Spa Village. T he races will be the 14.5, 10K, 5K and a 1- Mile fun run/walk. Regis tration will begin at 8 a.m. at the Village front gate.
