Our Autni Ichishkiin Sapsikwat Teachers will be taking the students out for walks, our students don’t ju st go out and play, the Teachers talk and teach them during this time. we have a Plan ning Meeting sched uled fo r Friday, March 8, 2013 beginning at 1:30 p.m. to be held in the Basement of the Culture & Heritage Lan guage Depart ment. This years camp is open to stu dents ages 8 years & up Every two weeks we will post updates on this page. Time is going by very qujck, soon its time for Culture Camp again, we plan on another great week for our valued re source o f the Tribes our Children, A t Camp they learned a variety of Cul ture and tradition o f the Tribes, and most impor tant topics were Lan guages o f our Tribes, and “ Cultural Values” taught by our Elders. We are seeking volunteers, you must be 18 and over to be camp counselors, if your interested, please contact Merle Kirk for more information. If your interested in taking part in this years “ Camp Naimuma” Our Language Instructors work very hard to keep our langage going by offering classes to you as members o f our three tribes. Numu Language Class Shirley T ufti & Myra Johnson-Orange has after school class Mon day | Thursday from 3:30 - 5:30 pm and Fridays from 3:30 - 5:30 will be craft day for the students , in the First Floor Training Room at the Education Bldg. Come to one o f our Lanuage Classes and have a great tim e w ith wonderful teachers Suzie Slockish has class every Monday and Wednesday evening from 5:30 - 9:00 pm in the Basement of the Culture & Heritage Lan guage Program, Also, one Sunday per month at Sunday services usually held at HeHe Longhouse. For more information on the Sunday service, contact Suzie. Arlita Rhoan has after school class Monday - Thursday 3:30 - 5:30 pm in the first floor training room of the Edu cation Building Friday 3:30 - 5:30 the students will have craft day.
