There are positions avail able for volunteers who would like to serve as greeters as well as tax preparers. Free IRS training is offered for volun teers. The existing plan appears to call for a convenience store-type development, rather than a travel center, he said. An update is needed on the status o f the downtown development plan as well, he said. Too often there are ideas that never make it past the planning stage, Councilman Patt added. Council agreed to discuss the travel center proposal during the December 5 Tribal Council session.
