H e was 43. O n D ecem ber 20, 1965, he was b o m in Prineville to N athan and Ella (Colwash) Jim. H e a tte n d e d sch o o l at W arm Springs E lem entary School, Madras Junior High and Madras High School. H e completed the General E d u cation Developm ent (GED) certificate. Frank was a fire fighter and camp crew member. He w as em p lo y ed at W arm Springs Forest Products In dustries as security, and at K ah-Nee-Ta Resort for a num ber o f years. His greatest joy in life was teaching the traditional and cul tural values o f singing, dancing, W ashut and Sundance religion. F rank tau g h t at 4-H C ulture Camp and enjoyed teaching chil dren bustle making, drum ming and drum making, cedar baskets, sweat house, and dream catch ers. H e is survived by sons, Frank Jim Jr., A nthony Jim , Jeremiah Jim o f P e n d le to n , an d D esm ond Jim o f Warm Springs; his m other Ella Jane Jim; Curt Jim, Alice Jim, A nnette Jim o f Warm Springs; Louella Farrow, Lela Tewee o f P endleton; Fidelia Andy, Joe Miller o f T o p p e n ish , W ash.; H ild a Culpus, Janet Yazzie, Marvin Meanus Sr., Bernice Mitchell o f W arm Sprinsg; Sam Jim Sr. a n d B ro n sc o Jim o f Goldendale, Wash. Cheryl Lynn H eath , 1957-2009 C heryl L ynn H e a th o f Warm Springs passed away at her hom e in W arm Springs o f O ctober 18, 2009 at the age o f 51. Cheryl was born on D e cember 3,1957 in Redmond, to C u rtis S ta c o n a an d Marcelene Gensaw. Cheryl was a lifetime resi dent o f W arm Springs and a tribal member. She worked as a preschool teacher. O n O ctober 11,1999, Cheryl m arrie d L a u re n c e ,H e a th in Warm Springs. T he church will host these sales, held from 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., through December. H ere is the menu: Monday: H om em ade soup, salad, frybread. $5. Tuesday: Indian tacos. $6.50.
