Halloween carnival Dave McMechan/Spilyay The newly formed Joint Health Commission members met with Tribal Council and clinic workers at Kah-Nee-Ta last week. The gathering was the first official meeting of the Joint Health Commission. T he center and Recreation D epartm ent will host the H al loween Carnival on Halloween night, Saturday, Oct. 31. T he fun and games begin at 7 p.m. There will be a costum e contest for adults and children. Judging will be at 7:30 p.m. C o n te s t c ateg o ries: m o st original, best hom em ade cos tume, best video game charac ter, twilight character, best zom bie. There will be Bingo and door prizes. T he Halloween Carnival is a drug and alcohol free event.
