D id we reach our Spilyay > goals? Speaks It is one thing to re a c h y o u r final goal, but if you were still m ov ing toward your goal, it would still be considered a success. W here as, if you were still in the same place when you made the resolution, it w ould be failure. M any people have similar goals like becoming organized, finishing those unfinished tasks or projects, and the m ost popu lar one, losing weight. G et down to that certain size. I f weight loss is your goal, you might w ant to consider the annual Biggest Loser Challenge th at begins January 26. T h at would be an excellent starting place. Small steps toward the ulti mate goal are w hat seems work, because some people think they are getting nowhere and they give up. They think this because they are not getting instant results, or they can’t see results. T hose unfinished tasks or w hatever resolution you may have can w ork this way w ith small steps. Just about any reso lution can work this way because after all you have a whole year to w ork toward your goal. Practice some follow through, and before you know it you are closer to finishing that unfin ished task or project, or losing weight. W hat ever your resolu tion may be. So w hat kind o f resolution is in store for the N ew Year? T h in k a b o u t w h a t can be ch a n g e d to im p ro v e y o u r lifestyle and take those small steps and make it happen. B ecause w e are h a lf w ay through January, already, you may have resolved to do some thing already. So good luck with your goals and remember, small steps. It works out for the best. Same time next year find out how th in g s w ent. D id y our lifestyle im prove for this year, or is your goal going to be con tinuous? We will see. Sacagawea lead the way. They faced hardship and starvation. She had the skills to stay alive, much more than any men did. She dug the Native roots for food w hen there was nothing left to eat. Vast knowledge o f the natu ral world, she spared the party from defeat. N o w Lewis and Clark did come to fame. T hey succeeded w ith their venture. They would go down in history. T he young girl was also mentioned. Sacagawea made it safe. She was trusted by the Indians. Ex cept for her they’d all be dead, and the expedition knew it. Today her spirit does regret the words that she was told to say, She found she lied to all the chiefs. She only hopes they will forgive. The Army drove them from their land. Im prisoned Indians they would be, confined to res ervation land, no precious free dom would they see. Sacagawea felt the shame, her willing part in that great, lie. And for you people out there saying Ees about me (you know who you are), don’t you think I wouldn’t have to sit a whole year in jail, then sent away to do more time. Well a lot o f people got what they wanted because I’m here. I never told on anybody, they all told on me and I don’t plan on doing so. Saying those things about me can get me hurt really bad or worse where I am. So it would help if you didn’t repeat rumors. I don’t know where these lies come from, I know w hat I am and what I ’m not, moved away and come back to hear these, in my absence, it just got better and bigger. All I can do is sit my time.
