The Tribal Council has' the responsibility for managing the water resource o f the reserva tion through the Reservation Water M anagem ent Plan. To implement this plan, Council established the Water Control Board. P rim ary fu n ctio n o f the board is to review all matters pertaining to the water resource to make recommendations to the Tribal Council in regards to making the Water Management Plan function and, to propose changes or im provements in water policy and the plan. The Water Control Board will be concerned with all activities occurring in the watershed ar eas on the Reservation. Before an activity is initiated all plans ,wi|l be submitted to the Board for their recommendations to the Tribal Council to ensure that neither water quality or quan tity, is impaired. Majority o f •activi ties will be local events, such as Lincoln’s Powwow, Pi-Ume-Sha Powwow, pa rades, county fairs, and other events. ^ The coordinator will be responsible for overseeing the tribal budget for the Miss Warm Springs, coor dinating the processing o f travel with the Administra tive Service Center travel coordinator; ensuring that funds ate available and that necessary paperw ork is available to, ensure travel for the royalty to events as approved by Tribal Coun cil; plan and recruit for the next year’s royalty. This position is volun tary. Knowledge o f the tribal activities and culture is helpful.
