They have toured with the likes o f R andy Travis and George Strait And on Friday, Nov. 16, the group Highway 101 will bring their musical act to Kah-Nee-Ta High Desert Resort and Casino, Highway 101 will perform one show at 9 p.m. on Nov. 16 in the Gold Ballroom at Kah- Nee-Ta. Tickets are $15 in ad vance, or $20 the day o f the show (based, on availability) and are available in person or by call ing 1-BOO-554-4783. All seating is general admis sion (doprs open at 8 p.m.), and the show is limited ,to people age 21 and over. An overnight pack age is available for $109 for two people, including deluxe lodging and two tickets to the concert. With hits like Whiskey, I f You Were A . Woman and The Bed You Made .For Me, Highway 101 has entertained audiences for more than 20 years. The band’s self- tided debut album yielded four top/ five hits, including two num ber one songs: Somewhere Tonight and Cry, Cry, Cry. In 1988 and 1989, Highway 101 was recognized as Vocal Group o f the Year by both the Academy o f Country Music and the Country Music Association.
