Proposed tribal supplemental budget for calendar year 2007 In July, 2007, the Twenty- Fourth Tribal Council identified as a priority thé: “Adoption and active imple mentation o f a long-term stra tegic plan for the economy that will generate significant on-res e rv atio n jo b s and revenues needed to fund other Tribal pri orities” This proposed Tribal Supple mental budget (Resolution N o. 10,802 below) is posted for the in formation o f enrolled members o f the Confederated Tribes o f Warm Springs. This budget will authorize the expenditure o f T rib al reso u rces to provide funding to move forward in ad dressing the above mentioned priority. Specifically, this bud get will allocate funds for eco- nomic development in <2007. The expenditures will include up to $ 2 0 0 ,0 0 0 to fund the W SFPI long-term economic fea sibility study;, up to $85,000 for the initial set up and funding o f “Native Ametidream”; up to $ 2 5 0 ,0 0 0 fo r m arketing and sales o f Tectonite products; up to $300,000 fo r the develop ment, administration and over sight o f programs to provide entrepreneurial assistance and up to $ 2 ,500,000 to support economic development on the reservation, including complet ing the feasibility analysis o f the Bear Springs Project. . The Sources for the above expenditures will come from a $1 million dividend from Warm Springs Power & Water Enter prises and distribution o f the lesser o f $2.1 million or the amount in excess o f $4.5 mil lion from the B IA loan account. This 2007 proposed Supple mental Tribal Budget was ap proved for posting by the Tribal Council in accordance with Tribal Appropriation Ordinance No. 67, and Article V, Section 1 (t) o f the Tribal Constitution and By-laws, as amended. This budget will be posted at the main Administration building, the Warm Springs Post Office, the Warm Springs Mar ket, the IH S - building, the Simnasho Long House and the Three Warriors Market Charles R.
