Enchiladas, rice and refried beans with pop or water. Price: $5 plate or donation. Raylene “Ike” Thomas. To all my family and friends of the Warm Springs community and Jefferson County, Our fam ily will be doing a fund raiser to purchase a laptop computer for my daughter Raylene ‘“Ike” Tho mas.' Raylene is currently doing two weeks of field desert train ing Las Vegas before she deploys to Iraq for six months on Aug. 24. The laptop costs $785. It fea tures a \yebcam and phone- vonage/e'-piail access. H er friend that let her plug into his computer was stationed back to the states last month. Raylene’s unit flew from Germany to Las Vegas on Sunday, Aug. 5, and she graduates from Air Militant Advanced Field Training on Aug. 22 at Nellis Airbase' outside of Las Vegas. Raylehe joined the Air Force' in May o f 2006. H er job is equivalent tb a ’U.S. Customs Agent, initially in Air Security Forces. Her current rank, is Senior Airman. When I talked with her, she was in good spirits. She said, since 755 S.W. I’m very proud of her and others who are serving our country overseas.
