Raylene is currently doing
two weeks of field desert train

to Iraq for six months on Aug.

The laptop costs $785. It fea
tures a \yebcam and phone-
vonage/e'-piail access. H er
friend that let her plug into his
computer was stationed back to
the states last month. Raylene’s
unit flew from Germany to Las
Vegas on Sunday, Aug. 5, and
she graduates from Air Militant
Advanced Field Training on Aug.
22 at Nellis Airbase' outside of
Las Vegas.
Raylehe joined the Air Force'
in May o f 2006. H er job is
equivalent tb a ’U.S. Customs
Agent, initially in Air Security
Forces.
Her current rank, is Senior
Airman. When I talked with her,
she was in good spirits. She said,

O f course any parent always
feels constant worry, knowing
their child will be in the middle
of a hostile environment. I’m
very proud of her and others
who are serving our country
overseas.
I miss watching her dance
