She led the team to several championships in the Central Oregon region, as well as the Willamette Valley. She has played in several tourneys locally with local as well as traveling teams helping these teams gain championship recog nition. Scott’s most fulfilling accom plishm ents came this season from helping lead her middle school team to a near perfect season, posting a season record o f 10 wins and one loss. Scott’s style o f play ultimately caught the eyes o f Michael and Todd Abraham, during a middle school and high school basket ball tourney at Seaside. Michael and Todd coach a nationally rec ognized middle school and high school girls basketball program called Team Concept For more in fo rm a tio n lo g on to tchoops.net. , Scott was invited to a tryout fo r their traveling team. She made the team, extending her basketball season even further. Team Concept is based in Beaverton. M ost o f the high school level members o f the traveling team are going on to Division 1 universities across the nation. To date, Abby Scott has par ticipated in six nationally recog nized tournaments with Team Concept and won all six tour neys. Her team’s most recent test was participating in the Seventh Annual Skyhawk Classic Middle Schpol Junior Varsity and Elite Varsity Divisions Girls Basket ball Tourney held at S^uth Badge H igh S ch o o l .in Beaverton. - S c o tt’s team had one; 6tK- walk. Registration will begin at 8 a.m. at the Warm Springs Hous ing building. Clackamas by the way had three team members who played this season in the girls 6-AOSAA S tate , C h am p ionship game against, o f course, 'Southridge, who have been the., girls state Q SAA 6-A champs, in 2Q063 2006 and again in 2007. I f that doesn’t say a lot about the skills these middle schoolers, have, then you better go see for yourself. O ne o f the biggest tourneys o f the year is at O r egon City High School on June 29-July 1, It’s a nationally rec? Ognized tourney -Hope to see the locals'there.... To sum things Up, Abby Scott is a 'Very humble athlete. She practices hard. She believes in herself.
