Ten funerary objects were c o lle c te d fro m the Memaloose Islands, W ash ington and Oregon, by Mr. Joseph Simms, and donated i to the Smithsonian in 1921. The Repatriation Office of the National Museum of Natu ral History has determined that th e s e o b je c ts are unassociated funerary objects and are culturally affiliated with the Confederated Tribes and Bands of the Yakama Nation and the Confederated Tribes of the Warm Springs Reservation.
