Spily^y T y m o o , W ^ tm Springs, O re g o n Youth hoops tourney in March The Warm Springs Cougars Youth Basketball Organization will be hosting the ninth annual All-Indian Boys and Girls sixth grade and under and eighth grade and under basketball tour nament on March 16,17 and 18 at the Warm Springs Elementary Gymnasium and the Commu nity Center. The four separate divisions of the tournament will accept the first six paid teams in each category. Entry fees áre set at $125 per team with a three-game guarantee, payable by the posted deadline of March 9. A ll players m ust provide proof of Indian descent and proof of participation in school Page 11 February 15, 2 0 0 7 by providing a current student body card from that school. Championship jackets will be awarded at each level and cat egory, including awards for sec ond through fourth place, the All-Tourney Team and most valuable player awards. All-Indian high school championships in April The Northwest All-Indian H igh School B asketb all C ham pionships for both boys and girls will be held on April 13, 14 and 15 at the Warm Springs Elementary School and the W arm Springs Community Center Gymnasiums. The fifteenth annual event is hosted by the Warm Springs Cougars Youth Basketball Or ganization and will be open for All-Indian high school teams from throughout Indian Coun try. Entry fees for the event are set at $175 per girls team and $200 per boys team by the entry deadline of April 6. After the deadline the entry fee will increase by $25 per team.
