Spiiyay Tyrnoo, Warm springs, Oregon November 23, 2006 Several buildings vandalized The Education, Building was broken into last week, and sig nificant property damage was reported. D oors and locks to the of fices of C ulture and Heritige Department, and various offices o f the Education Branch js^ere broken. -A laptop computer was re ported, stolen, and the employee desks were ransacked. The per son or people responsible also, dis charged a fire extinguisher in a room on the 'second floor o f the building. Tribal members are Invited to recall the sights and sounds of the old village and falls during the C elilo Wy- am-pum homecoming and healing encampment. The event begins Nov. 23 and ends on Moy. 26 at the Celilo Park and Village Longhouse. Families are welcome to share a moment with those who once gathered at that special place and to join with other Columbia River de scendents. Those who wish to attend are welcome to bring songs, stories and photographs to share. Tee pees, poles and tents are needed for the encampement.
