Shari Macy, Mclvin Scott Jr., and Martha Andcrson-Tias were within the residence when the warrant was ex ecuted, according to police. The residence is located in an area of the Warm Springs community commonly re ferred to as the Tenino apart ment area. A vehicle related to the search warrant was also stopped and impounded. The driver of the vehicle was Danell Tailfeathers, according to police. Some of the items found within the residence during the search were 6.6 grams of crystal methamphctamine, and 0.2 gross grams of mari juana, according to the police report. Search warrant yields drugs, three arrests Warm Springs Police ex ecuted a search warrant on June 17 at the residence of 2478 Cricket, commonly referred to as 2478 Kuckup. The residence is located in an area of the Warm ' Springs commonly known as "the trailer parks." Arrested were Irene Garcia, Thomas George and Timothy Greene, according to police. Tenino Rd., heading east to High way 26 I was observed driving er ratically, according to the report from the arresting police officer. I was pulled over at or near Deschutes Crossing Restaurant and arrested for DUI on the rez. My apologies to Annette, Gordon, Lyle III for my conduct, allowing quality time to be lost being with my loved ones. All I can say is I'm truly sorry for my choice to turn to drugs to numb my feelings of what was happening in my life at the time. I was last released from jail (Feb. 8, 2005), starting over from day one again, one day at a time. I thank our creator for anther chance at life sober and clean, and it's my choice Other items found during the search were items that relate to the sale of drugs illegally, police said. Those items were packag ing materials, scales and grind ing equipment, police said. Glass pipes commonly used to smoke methamphctamine were found, and bongs and pipes commonly associated with marijuana use, according to the report. Several people came to the residence while the search was occurring. It was confirmed that at least two of these people came to the residence to buy drugs illegally. One of these people was Crystal Arthur, ac cording to police. A 2-month-old child, who was at the residence as well, was taken to Childrens Protective Services. Another minor child, who also resides at the residence, was found at a different loca tion and was taken to CPS as grams of crystal methamphct amine were seized, police said. Approximately 0.6 grams of marijuana were seized, accord ing to the police report Tinfoil and glass smoking devices commonly used to smoke methamphetamine were seized, according to police. Macy was also charged with drug paraphernalia and child neglect, police said. Melvin Scott Jr. was charged with narcotics, dangerous drugs, hallucinogens and deliriants, spe cifically sale, possession and use, according to police. Melvin was also served an outstanding war rant for his arrest, police said. Scott was referred to parole and probation, as he allegedly vio lated the conditions of his pro bation from a previous narcotics-related offense, according to police. Danell Tailfeathers was charged with narcotics, danger ous drugs, hallucinogens and deliriants, specifically use, ac als related to the illegal sale of methamphetamine were seized, the police report states. Two minor children were placed in Childrens Protective Service's custody, stemming from this incident, police said. Squaw Point and Squaw Marsh on the western edge of Upper Klamath Lake will soon be known as Sesti Tgawaals Point and Sesti Tgawaals Marsh. Sesti Tgawaals is the original Klamath name for the location, and means literally, Mount Shasta on end, a reference to the view of the mountain from the location. The Squaw Point Wildlife Area will also take the Sesti Tgawaals name, a decision made by the Oregon Fish and Wild life service. The Oregon Geographic Names Board, responsible for reviewing all geographic name changes in the state, voted unanimously last week for the changes. Champ Vaughan of Molalla, president of the names board, said the change was an easy sell. The board was just waiting for formal comments by Klamath County commissioners before making the changes, said Vaughan.
