The season up to now has not been one to remember. No matter how the season finishes in the win loss column. Homecoming is what is remembered most. From the former students who are now par ents and those who arc grandpar ents to current students. Follow White Buffalo football. The play ers who participate in the game, the parents who cheered their sons through the tough losses and shared the fruit of a victory. Crowning of homecoming ipieen and king, the bonfire on Thursday evening, the parade through town, the underclassmen that try to beat the senior class during spirit week, listening to the baud and eating at the barbecue before the game. All of these are what we remem-' ber most during Homecoming week. The activities for Homecoming week are: on Monday, "Come as you arc" day. Tuctiday is "l ira" day (50' s-80) and a talent show in the MHS caf eteria starting at 7 PM. Wedncnday is "Clash" day (i.e. ! pl.iids ft stripes) Pep rally and bon fire at 7:45 in the Buff annex park ing lot. Thursday is "School Colors" day. (Must have all three colors, no gang attire) Assembly and Lip Sync at the football stadium from 1:40-3:25. VARSITY FOOTBALL GAMP, starting at 7:()I)PM Homecoming Dance-after game until 1 1:00pm Friday is no school for students! State inservice. Keep the tradition alive. Go to the game and support your Madias W hite Buffalo Football team. Tribal performers a highlight of Lake Billy Chinook Day Banks defeats Madras 26-7 Last Friday on September 28. The Madras White Buffalo Varsity football team traveled to COWPA league country. After showing some improvement on both sides of the football, Madras left Banks with a 26-7 loss. Heading home to get ready for the Tri Valley league opener at the Dalles on October 5'h in the Dalles at 7:(X)PM. "7T -.
