"A Vision For You & I" Often I wonder where I stand in this life My future has many paths that lead in every direction The choices in life are many, I need to choose My destiny lies somewhere, only known by the Creator. My mind races trying to catch my heart's desires Always seeking & striving for Self-Success Knowing people and places around the world and there are many I search my heart & soul of where I may want to be... Over and over my thoughts extend to distant lands Wondering....Is my destiny to help other people find their direction? Do I follow my dreams and visions of opportunity? The Words of Wisdom shared my many who have gone ahead and re membered. Words encouraging me to strive on to better my walk Remembering to Trust your.. ."Faith in the Creator" Listening to the Creator and yearning to make it happen I only can pray that I can make the right choices People don't make mistakes only lessons learned Never give up your visions and dreams to strive for your life's suc cesses. I'll find someone who can relate, someone cares about life with God. I find myself stuck in a situation I can't find a way out. I put myself here.... It's all around me, I can't hide, my future is in doubt. I try to stay out of trouble here in prison, but always seem to find me.... Just when I think I've gotten ahead in life it creeps up behind me. I don't have any place to go or anyone to turn to for help. ... I'm all alone in this struggle. Just me, by myself... Well that's what I use to think but last year or two years ago, in USPLompoc I've gotten baptized 102598 that all came to an end. I finally discovered my one & only true friend. As I lie down to sleep & tears rolled down on my pillow, I heard someone whisper to me & felt their hand on my head. It was an angel of God who come to me that night. Our Lord Jesus Christ was with her but it was true ! I know now! What I should have known. Gods always with us, we're never alone. Thanks again. But if we take the time and look around we can still find good things happening. An example of this would be the recent opening of the Three Warriors Market in Simnasho. The Tribal membership that have offered comment on the store have been real supportive and appreciative. I feel good about the turn out for the grand opening event because there was a real sense of unity. That sup port not only came through tribal membership's attendance but also in their generosity of the donations that they gave for the door prize drawings. - We are slowly getting stocked with the inventory that the people have been requesting. We can't always get everything that everyone wants but we will make sincere effort to try and get it. Please feel free to comment and to make suggestions on what we can do to provide the best services and goods. There are many people that we need to thank and recognize for mak ing the store the success it is: first, the technical support of Leminnie Smith of the business and economic development office; Jamie Burleigh, Lisa Sledge, Sonya Bryant, Mike Collins, Joyce Erb, and Judy Johnson of Finance; The Purchasing staff; Warehouse troops; Patches and crew; Danielle Switzler and Michelle Stacona of the internal auditors office; the personnel department; Mike Clements and Sal Sahme from BE & D; Paul Vaeth from Utilities; Ray Moody; Tribal Council; and last but not least the tribal membership. The effort and time that it took to do what has been done has been great, but also very rewarding. Thank you from the Three Warriors staff!!! The company that built this won derful facility is LCM. They did a great job and were very easy to work with throughout the project. They also donated the sign that is mounted above the entrance door. The artwork for the sign was drawn by Ken Sahme. PCI did the fuel station work and also were a joy to work with. They just came in and did the job and were gone. It's hard sometimes to find excellent contractors such as them.
