Warm Springs bowlers top in Reno championship. The Rockhawks of Warm Springs were awarded third place after losing to United Tribes 77-89. United Tribes and host team Blackwolf were in the running for championship. At half-time Blackwolf was ahead 34-30. United Tribes pulled ahead in the end winning 61-59. Antonio Scott was high Scorer for Blackwolf with fourteen. Tyrone Miles; 11, Buck Scott, Rccmo Smith; 10, Don Holly; 8, Orlando Vance; 4, and Larry Scott; 2. High Scorer for United Tribes was James Mathcny with 1 9, Mike Leslie; 15, Dave Cunningham; 1 4, Littlefoot Ellenwood; 10, Bob Sabotta; 4, and Scott Williams; 2. Sportsmanship was presented to NW Chiefs. Tim Brown received the 3-Point award, he scored 7 in one game. Steve Wahtah had fifteen rebounds in one game to earn the Mr. Rebound award. Todd Wagonblast was named High Scorer with thirty eight in one game. Mr. Hustle was Antonio Scott, and All Defense went to Littlefoot Ellenwood. Mike Leslie was named Most Valuable Player and Slam Dunk Champ. All-stars were awarded to Cox and D. Totetino of Deschutes U-Boat, Todd Wagonblast and Ryan Sams of TC Logging, Roger Jacob and Tim Brown of NW Young Guns, Jerome Davis and Kelly Wechter of Rockhawks, Orlando Vance and Reemo Smith of Blackwolf. Vanderlogt overall winner of 14.5 mini marathon The annual Mini Marathon was held April 15, 1995 at the Kah-Nee-Ta Village. A total of 37 runners competed for overall winner of the 1 4.5 mile marathon, eighteen for the 10K, 42 for the 3 mile, and 27 in the 1 mile fun run or walk. Total runners for the day is 126. Overall male winner of the 14.5 mile is 30 year-old Tim Vanderlogt with a time of 1 .25:29, overall female winner of the 14.5 mile is 36 year old Jane Cleavengar with a time of 1.34:35.
