The man loved one of the sisters; just one. The sister without was filled with jealousy toward the sister who has . , . The sister without, caused a great split at home. There was no peace at home. The sister without did poorly at work, her boss would try to help or correct her. She became angry at her boss. Her boss felt bad of a good worker who was going downhill. His What we really needed is a reality at last! And thats the re opening of the school in Simnasho. The closure of the school several years ago caused quite an impact on the children from that area. One of the biggest problems the children faced was having a long, long day which was hard on the very young kids. In order for them to get to class they had to meet the bus at 6:00 a.m. each morning, and believe me thats just about having to beat the birds in getting up in the mornings. All the kids from that area rode the bus to Warm Springs in order to catch the bus to Madras, or to attend the classes in Warm Springs. The older kids would re-board a bus and ride the rest of the way to Madras, which is almost 50 miles one way. Go to school all day than the return trip to Warm Springs to pick up the smaller kids who attended school there which was up to the 6th grade, and on down the highway the Simnasho in the evening. Just the trip to and from school is enough to get anyone tired because the whole trip each day was way up in the miles like 80 to 90 miles a day for the kids to go to school. Thats a long haul for anyone let alone having to attend classes each day on top of the long trip. There are some kids who have chores to do each day but with all that traveling to and from school was enough for anyone let alone doing chores when they got home. So you can see why there were so many people who were envolved in getting the school re-opened. There were kids who didn't;t have any time to play around after they got home because things were really messed up and almost time for them to get to bed to rest up for the next day's long ride. Yep! for years there were different ones working hard to try to get the school re-opened and have now passed on. It would really would have seen great for them to se the school starting up once again. The school is up to the fourth grade but still thats better for all those little tykes who had to get up with the birds each day to get ready for school. They can cop a few more ZZZ's each morning before the class takes up. Or they can have a real good breakfast with out having to rush to meet the bus. There still is a long trip for some of the kids each day but they are much older and can handle themselves better than those little fellers. Evette sends greetings To the editor, Howdy you all once more. How's life treating you all on life's terms in our new year of 94 now? I now have may own apartment in a head injury rehabilitation center and have an advocate counselor name Cathy Goelz. Cathy is also my payee and helps me with budgeting with all the money I receive every month. She will not be working at where I now stay anymore because she was offered a new job. I also found out that Bob Jackson does not work for the WS Social Services now too. They both had me to come a long ways with my money I received every month, an I'd love to wish them the best of luck in life with their new jobs. I sure will miss Cathy when she leaves, but I know she will take care Congrats Mavis and Nat Things are pretty slow around here at this time of the year where many seasonal jobs have closed for the winter, especially in the woods and other construction jobs. There are other things that are just as important that people never really take seriously and should be prepared for With all the earth quakes and stuff makes a person wonder what to expect next. There is always some kind of distructing force that causes trouble across the country. There are floods, earth quakes, fires and Volcanoes to day that have done extreme harm to the country. Last year there was all that flooding in the mid-states, creating one of the biggest disasters along the river banks flooding out towns and destroying crops from the farmers. There were also fires in southern California that wiped out many homes causing another disaster area in the country. Than the big earth quake just recently caused so many problems killing several people and tying up traffic because of the disruption of the big freeways in Los Angeles area, the power shortage distroying homes where many were living in tents. A year or two ago there was a disaster team being formed here in Warm Springs. There were a great group of individuals who were making studies on different disaster areas of what people should do in case of an emergency. Discussed were flooding, fires, both domestic and wild fires, earth quakes and volcanoes. Since the group has slacked down a little and perhaps should regroup to give their findings in case of an emergency that could happen around here. Like the 64 flood and stuff like that. Mr. & Mrs. Shaw, Maois & Nat; AKA as mice and brat; It's soon their anniversary, 30 years-imagine that! We're all so happy for them two; , They're always so friendly, and never, blue; ' 7 " Anyone can say, if they seen you today,' how happy you look; Your smiles gave you away; You're two special people, and couldn't be greater; You'll be reading another poem. . 30 years later, Happy Anniversary from your friends and familyl ' ' and have fun with her new job because she's very cool as well as Bob Jackson was for the WS Social Services. Take it easy you two, and may God, up above, bless you folks more in his time and in his ways more "one day at a time," okay? Thank you. Sincerely, Evette Patt 689 W 13th Ave. 5 Eugene, Oregon 97402 Thanks for support To the editor, My love and thanks to all the people. God answered your prayers! I am recovering from the vascular surgery. I thank God for such loving friends, for your prayers, calls and visits. My appreciation and love to all the Community Center staff for taking over for me at the Christmas Bazaar. The Tree Lighting, the Last Minute Bazaar. A special hug to all those who helped keep the jungle plants and trees alive. To the children who come to "Carol's Room" lots and lots of hugs. Thank you so much for your prayers and the wonderful cards and paper flowers you made for me. It won ' t be long and I'll be back to open the room and we'll have a celebration. Remember, I love you. Carol Allison feeling bad went home with him and the feelings touched his family. The sister without, saw less of the sister who has. The friends of the sisters tried to stay out the issue. The sister without, tried to get friends to understand she needed them to back her anger toward the sister who has. The friends became few. If you did not support you were no friend. The man thought it was fun to have two women wanting him. But then the woman he loved was changing from her anger the sister without had against her. So the man went to the sister without and told her to stop. The sister without went to the sister who has and told her the man came to her. The sister who has felt like the sister without. She now was filled with anger, jealousy, and sadness. She too caused her boss to become involved. The split at home grew. The man went away. Now sadness, filled the sisters without and anger toward everyone. Jealousy: to infringe or deny the right of possession. The seeds of jealousy: anger, sadness, depression, blind pride, loneliness. The point of the story: No one is a possession, except all of Creation belonging to God. To possess, to make an attempt to hold on to a life is to lose that life. Remember, relationships, friends, family lovers are all lives that we hold with an open flat hand. To grab and to hold on to a life is to squeeze the rest away.
