Letters to the Editor— Seniors enjoy conference To the Editor, I would like to take this opportunity to Thank all who contributed to the senior citizen fundraising activities. With your help, we were able to send 15 seniors to the National Indian Conference On Aging in Tulsa, Oklahoma. T he s e n io r s e n jo y e d themselves very much and represented the Confederated Tribes very well. The seniors were able to share their co n cern s and enjoy the company ot their peers and were also exposed to national issues that affect all seniors. We in the Senior Program Maxwell retires believe that an active person is a happy and healthy person and so activities such as this are vital to our success. Some thoughtless and selfish (or very desperate) person stole her purse right out from under her: She doesn’t care who did it now, but you know who you are, and she’d appreciate it very much if you can send back her belongings that are unneccessary for you— alot of her items are very necessary and much needed (not to mention the items that are of sentimental value).
