In line with this, the Agency District has instituted a new rule. If a person is nom inated, that person must be present to accept or decline—or if that person cannot attend the m e e tin g , th e n w ritte n c o n f i r m a t i o n m u s t be presented a t time of the nomination. If this is not done, that nomination will not be recognized. Applicatons for participa tion in the talent contest are now available from Caroline C ruz at the C om m unity Counseling Center or from Uren Leonard in the Planning department at the administra tion building. M oney prizes w ill be awarded to the first three winning acts with $100 for first, place, $60 for second place and $40 for third place. Judges will be selected from the audience the night of the show. Proceeds from the talent show will be used to purchase soccer uniforms for the Warm Springs youth soccer league. Volunteers are needed to organize the show. Meetings are held every Monday at 1:30 p.m. in conference room 3 at the administration building. Thanks to those who helped To the Editor, I know this is late in coming, but 1 want to take this time to thank all those involved in the tenth annual Miss W arm Springs pageant. W i t h o u t th e c o o k s , drummers, singers, judges and emcee, the pageant wouldn’t have been the success it was. We’ve received many compli ments on the pageant, I also want to thank all the people for. their donations.
