Spilyay Tym oo photo by Shew czyk Recognition given to 4 -H p a r t ic ip a n t s A special evening to recognize 4-H members and parents for their participation in the Warm Springs 4-H Program took place Tuesday, July 28 th at the Agency Longhouse. A potluck dessert was provided for the event by Extension Staff and 4-H Club Leaders. G uest speaker for the recognition dessert was Tribal C o u n c il M e m b e r M ik e Clements. Mr. Clements spoke to 4-H members, leaders; and parents about what 4-H could teach them about life, how education helps a person, and how 4-H members can cope with negative peer pressures that they may encounter. Each 4-H member received a certificate of recognition of their participation in 4-H in 1980-81 and special awards were given within each club for “ Most Supportive Parent” and “ M ost O u tsta n d in g 4-H Member.” Following is a list of awards recipients by 4-H club. 4-H Archery Club: Tony Brocheau, Albert Kalama, Christel L eonard, Stacey Leonard, Tray Leonard, John Marcum, Jeannie Miller, Lena Mitts, Floyd Tewee Jr., Kathy Yazzie, George Ike. Wash, quarter and remove worms from apples. Don’t peel or core. 2. Place apples in a roasting or shallow pan. Add water until it is !4 to I" up the side of the pan. Cover pan. 3.
