Wisteria Parly Wisteria club's Valentine dance will be on Fri day night at Knights of Columbus hall. Among parties for legislative groups will be the coffee for which Mrs. Pat Doolcy, wife of the speaker of) the house, and Mrs. Robert Steward, wife of Representative Steward, will entertain next Thursday morning. The party will be at 9:30 o'clock in Meier & Frank's-Salem Oregon room. Guests will include wives of all house members, wives of slate offi cials, and scnale wives with whom the two host esses have worked in past sessions. Other events of interest to legislative groups are being announced. On February 13 comes tho tea for which the Oregon State Medical society auxiliary and the Marion-Polk Medical society aux iliary will entertain to honor the wives of legis lators, the event to be at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Vern W. Miller. On February 19 comes the "legislative day" for Oregon Federation of Repub lican Women; and in March the newly organized Jane Jefferson club for Democratic women here Is planning a tea to honor the wives of legis lators. ' ,', Oregon Music Teachers association is meeting for its February luncheon Monday noon at the Golden Pheasant. There will be a short business session, also. For the program on music as therapy, Dr. Eleanor B, Gutman, who is In charge of die tu berculosis unit at Oregon Stale hospital, will dis cuss use of music in treatment of patients.
