Coimly Court to Circulate Petition On Shop Building While the City of Silverton has voiced no objection to a proposal that a county shop building be erected on Grant street near the Catholic school, it is suggested that the county court circulate a peti tion among residents of the area. The suggestion was contained in a letter to County Engineer John Anderson from R. E. Borland, Sil verton city manager. Anderson in turn asked the county court for di rection in the matter. Borland's communication report ed that the building project was referred to the Silverton planning commission which recommended that the court circulate a petition to sound out public sentiment. Although the court took no offi cial action, it was indicated that it would not circulate petitions.
