The ceremony will be at 10 o'clock that morning in the Im maculate Conception Catholic church at Stayton with the Rev. Math. Jonas officiating. Miss Darlcne Boedigheimer will be maid of honor for her sister. Bridesmaids will be Miss Carol Boedigheimer, sister of the bride, Miss Sharon Meyerhofer and Mrs. Clement Lulay. Ila Jean Boedigheimer will be junior bridesmaid for her sister. Verl Dean Boedigheimer, brother of the bride, is to be best man. Other attendants for the bridegroom will be Clement Lu lay, Cilen Minden and James Frichtl. John Brand and Nestor Van Handle will be soloists and Jos ephine Brand is to he organist. The reception following is to be at the church parish hall. The bride-elect is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Carl Boedigheimer and Mr. Kintz is the son of Mrs. Margaret Kintz all of Stayton. Republican Women Honor Mrs. McKay LEBANON Mrs. Douglas Mc Kay was guest of a group of Republican women last week at the home of Mrs. Warren C. Gill. In the receiving line with Mrs. McKay were Mrs. Clark C.'McCall of Salem, and Mrs. Bess Scharf. fenberg. Albany. Mrs. Gill intro duced the line. Mrs. McKay gave highlights of her four-yenr stay in Washington as a cabinet witc. Her talk included a description of capital social life and a close picture of President and Mrs. Elsenhower. Greeting guests at the door were Mrs. Elton Vendenberg and Mrs.' R. M. Hayden. At the tea table Mrs. Russell Slocum, Mrs. Myrtle Blumenfeld, Mrs. David Iteid, Mrs. N. E. Rob ert Mctzger, president; Mrs. Ver gil Simmons, vice president; Mrs. Ronald Lee, secretary-treasurer. The meeting was the last busi ness session of the season. A luncheon is planned by the group for June 12 in Meier & Frank's Salem Oregon room. Engagement Announced Mr. and Mrs. Robert Orr are announcing the engagement of their daughter, Miss Loretta Jean Orr. to Donald Walter Rann, son of Walter A. Rann of Vancouver. Wash., and Mrs. Erma L. Weldon of Portland. An early fall wedding is planned. Miss Orr is a graduate of North Salem High school, and is em ployed in the Bank of California, Portland. Mr. Rann graduates from Lewis and Clark college in June, and is also employed in the Bank of California. Farewell Party SILVERTON Mr. and Mrs. Rob ert Allen were complimented at a no-host supper Thursday at Le gion hall as a farewell ovation by fellow members of Dclbert Reeves post and auxiliary No. 7. Mrs. T. P. Heidenstrom, aux iliary president, presented a gift in behalf of the auxiliary and post members. The Aliens have sold their acre age residence property near Sil verton, and are taking a several- months' trip my auto and house trailer, planning a slay in Cali fornia and mid-western slates with members of their family and other relatives and friends. The Aliens have been active workers in the Legion program. Mrs. Allen established a record this year in receiving 227 poppy poster responses from school chil dren. The Making ot a presi dent," written by Mrs. Edwin But lcr, was presented as a surprise event, the skit highlighting the life of Dr. Smith who is in his 14th year as president of Willamette and halfway to retirement time. A leather bound copy of the skit was presented to Dr. Smith and added to it ill be pictures taken t the banquet by Sgt. Walter Grattan. Mrs. Smith was given a nosegay. Mrs. Maurice Brcnnen, outgoing president of the faculty women's group, made the presentations and was toastmistress for the evening. In the cast for the skit were Mrs. Brennen as narrator; Robert Putnam in the role of Dr. Smith; Mrs. Putnam as Mrs. Smith; Mrs. Don Gleckler in the role of Mrs. Esther Ryan, secretary to Dr. Smith; Mrs. H.
