Wed Here June 12 Mr. and Mrs. Donald Joseph Sepich (Shirley EuUlia Nieswander), above, were married here June 12 at the First Congregational church. The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Faul S. Nieswander and Mr. Sepich is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Joseph Sepich of Cutten, Calif, (McEwan studio picture). Business Women Install Officers WOODBURN-Thirty members and guests were present for the dinner meeting and installation of officers of the Woodburn Business and Professional Women's club last week at St. Mary's Episcopal hall. The dinner was served at 7 o'clock by members of St. Mary's guild. Group singing was led by Mrs. N. A. Mann with Miss Gladys Adams at the piano. An impressive emblem ceremony was directed by Mrs. James Lamb, with Mrs. George Timm, taking part. Miss Gladys Adams, Miss Mabel Live say, Miss Marie Thompson and Mrs. John Dickson. Mrs. 0. J. Adkinson, a past president, was the installing of ficer. New officers are: Mrs. Clara Stange, president; Mrs. J. A. Evans, first vice president; Mrs. Sam Smith, second vice president; Mrs. Veola Farmer, recording sec retary; Mrs. Ervan Susa, corres ponding secretary and Mrs. 0. J. Adkinson, treasurer. Mrs. Nellie Muir presented a past president's pin to Mrs. Adkin son. Mrs. Thoman Baldwin, the re tiring president, presented a presi dent's traveling kit to Mrs. Stange and a U. S. flag to the club from herself, and Mrs. N. A. Mann. All officers, new and retiring, and committee chairmen were pre sented with corsages. Initiation was postponed until fall. No meetings are planned until the first Thursday in September. Mrs. Stange announced the fol lowing standing committee chair men: Membership, Mrs. Nellie Muir; public affairs, Mrs. Thomas Baldwin; international relations, Mrs. John Dickson; educational Mrs. Paul Burkert; health and safety, Miss Mabel Livsay: pro gram, Mrs. J. A. Evans; finance, Mrs. Sam Smith: parliamentarian, Mrs. 0. J. Adkinson; publicity, Miss Marie Thompson; scrapbook, Mrs. Walter Miller; music,' Miss Gladys Adams; song leader, Mrs. N. A. Mann. After the meeting, a group of the members called on Mrs. Molly Hunt, who was unable to attend, and presented her with a corsage. SILVERTON Mr. and Mrs. Kenneth Webb are being felici tated on the birth of their third child, Friday, June 18, at Silver ton hospital, a daughter. The baby is a sister of Dannie and Kathy.
