May 21. 1952 Party Set Before Junior Prom Among .those entertaining groups preceding the Junior Prom of Salem high school, Sat urday evening, will be Miss Marlyn Lorenz. About 100 friends of the host ess have been bidden for a "coke party" between 8 and 9 o'clock at the home of her par ents, Mr. and Mrs. Louis Lorenz. THE BOARD for Women of Rotary met on Monday at the home of Mrs. Ivan Stewart for dessert. Plans were made for the group's regular luncheon meeting next Monday afternoon. Attending the board meeting were Mrs. Karl Kugel, Mrs. L. M. Flagg, Mrs. P. H. Brydon, Mrs. Harris Lietz, Mrs. Hugh Morrow, Mrs. George L. Ar buckle, Mrs. Stewart. A DAUGHTER, Cynthia Ann, was born on May 19 in Iowa City, Iowa to Mr. and Mrs. Del ton C. Trinklein. Mrs. Trinklein Js the former Norma Fischer. Grandparents are Mr. and Mrs. William H. Fischer of Salem and Rev. and Mrs. H. J. Trinklein of Portland. Mr. Trinklein is at tending the University of Iowa. Trio in Concert Thursday Willamette university chapter of Mu Phi Epsilon, national mu sic honorary, is presenting the Latvian string trio in concert Thursday evening in Waller hall, the program to be at 8:15 o'clock. Jenks-Moir Miss Jean Moir, daughter of Mrs. G. C. Moir of Portland was married at 3 o'clock on Satur day, May 17 to Howard L. Jenks, son of Mr. and Mrs. Howard B. Jenks. The ceremony was per formed by Dr. Brooks Moore, minister of the First Methodist church, at the bridegroom's home in Polk county. Only immediate members of the family were present. After a short wedding trip, the couple will be at home in Polk county.
