Earlier Pearson had annbunced ie would not seek re-election as treasurer. He formerly was a member of both houses of the legislature. Other filings: State Rep. E. H. Patrons on the ground floor of the building escaped, but one exit from the balcony became jammed with terrified fans ty- ing to reach the streets. Six bodies were found near the door. When you're in your 20's, you think you're mature and important. "In the 30's you're just be ginning to grow up. By the time you're 40 you're just beginning to get your foot in the door of life. "I've enjoyed every age In my life. I've never wanted to go back. "But there's an overemphasis on age in this world. Youth Is a wonderful thing, but our pat tern of life is to emphasize ev erything youthful. The pressures brought on men and women in their middle years aren't good.'
