Mr. Bloch, a composer'and conductor, Is definitely putting Oregon on the mus ical map. Mr. Bloch spent the summer and autumn of 1949 in Europe, where he conducted the orchestra of La Scala in Milan, the Suisse Romandc in Geneva and the London Philharmonic, among others. In London he also made record ing for London Gramaphone. All seats for the local concerts of the symphony are reserved, with three price levels available. Begin ning Saturday, November 4, the chart of seats will be in the Ladd and Bush bank lobby, and season tickets only will be sold through Thursday, November 9, thus giving season ticket holders the first choice of seats.
