Communion Day Slated November 3 World Communion Day will bp observed by the Salem Coun cil of Churcliwomcn at Knighl Memorial church November 3, it was announced this week end. The observance is one of three including World Day of Prayer and the May Fellowship observance. The day's sludy will revolve around the theme of "Endur ing Peace." Problems of relief and rehabilitation, .economic in dependence and matters of con cern in the homeland will be included in the discussions. Inter-denominational, inter-racial and inter-faith, will all be stress ed. Mrs. A. C. Hausske will be the fuatured speaker, choosing as her subject "Relief and Rehabili tation in China." Mrs. Hausske is the wife of a former mission ary teacher in China and after the outbreak of war the couple worked in concentration camps and cared for several hundred children. Mrs. Hausske served as dean of women at Pacific university last year. She recently returned from San Francisco, where she spoke before the Post-war Chi nese Relief Council.
