They included: In the North American area: Oregon Butts, Sgt. Charles A.; friend, Miss Stella Perkins, Portland, In the Pacific area: Oregon Brabrook, PFC David R. Moth er, Mrs, Helen Brabrook, As toria. In the southwest Pacific area: Oregon Abel, PFC Clayton J. Wife, Mrs. Martha Abel, Burns. Communion Service Thursday Night The First Presbyterian church will observe its fourth annual prc-Easter communion service Thursday evening at 8 o'clock. This ,r"'re, held in the ctmdle linhtod sanctuary, where abso lute silence is maintained, has come to be very meaningful to great numbers of people in the community as well as to the church congregation itself. The chorus choir, under the direction ot Virginia Ward Elliott, will sing appropriate music. Victory Quint Heard Woodburn The Victory Quintet of Atlanta, Ga., pre sented a concert of negro spir ituals in the Woodourn high school auditorium last week. The quintet has presented con certs in the northwest during the fall and winter months and is now making a tour of the high schools.
