Dorothy Tupling Weds Salem Man One of July's most charming brides was Miss Dorothy May Tup- ling, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry Tupling of Portland, whose marriage to Charles R. Barber of Salem, son of Mrs. Oscar Barber of Abilene, Texas., took place Sat urday night at Westminster Presby terian church. The church was dec orated for the wedding with white gladioluses, snapdragons and roses against a background of palms and lighted candles. Preceding Miss Tupling down the bridal aisle were her sister-In -law, Mrs. William Lloyd Tupling of Boise, Ida., as matron of honor, and her sister, Margery, as maid of honor. Both attendants wore dress es of blue marquisette embroidered with bouquets of pastel flowers and carried sheaves of pastel-toned wa ter lilies. . The dark-haired bride was lovely in her wedding gown of white mar quisette embroidered with full blown roses and tiny but'.!. It was made in princess style with a train. Her two-tlercd finger-tip length veil was caught to her hair with three large white roses And she carried a cluster of the same roses.
