A picnic was held on the school grounds Thursday for the pupils and their parents. Mrs. Lula Burt and Miss Lucille Wright left for their homes in Portland the first of the week. They were both re elected to teach In the Lyons school next year. The McCulley Mountain school closed last week with a picnic held at the school house Wednesday. Th Weasel Plat school Joined them for a ball game in the afternoon. Mrs. Mary Lovett will teach the McCulley Mountain school again next year.
