June 1J MV-Cecil Mathany. 19, of Monmouth, Ore. was killed early Sunday and Earl Poulsen. 23, suffered a broken back when the steering mechanism of their automobile apparently failed, and the car crashed over a steep bank on Keeney bill 12 miles south of here. Hospital authorities at Redmond where Poulsen aas taken said the youth had been completely para lysed. They sent him by ambu lance to a Portland hospital.
