The main bene fit of the bridge. It is stated, would be to Independence and Monmouth and would not be of any particular added bene lit cither to Salem or Dallas, It Is stated. It is consid ered likely, however, If the Oregon Electric plans continue on as lirst indicated that a strong movement will develop in the Independence section, at least, for consideration of such a bridge.
