How ever, without talcing any credit from Btiyes, who put up one of his best fights nnd returned hnrd blow for hnrd blow, the decision can not be termed ns unfair, though a draw would have left a more IthnsiiiR tnste in the mouths of the crowd who packed the auditorium. Pelz Cnrrlcs Miirgln In going over the fight it will be seen that Benny earned a mar gin in the fourth, fifth, eighth and ninth, with Bayes taking the second nnd third. Tho other four rested even with both fighters sending, in plenty of telling blows. In tho first tho fighters aon tcntcd themselves with feeling each other out, looking for some kind of nn opening.
