TURNER MAN REPORTS ACCIDENTTO OFFICERS Thomas Little of Turner has re ported an accident on the Turner rond about n mile south of the old reform school, in which he claims his cur wiib forced into the ditch by a ear driven by K. D. Culver. He states Culver's car was headed directly at him and he ran Into the ditch to avoid a collision but that the Culver car hit jiirt the samo. No onew us iuhired. MT. BEE KEEPERS OF POLK ATTEND CONVENTION Dallas, Or., Jan. 21. Four Polk county bee keepers attended tb annual session of the atate bee keepers association in Tba Dalles this week and one of tbe number, H. K. Meade of near Greenwood, waa elected as vice-president of the iweociatiun. An invitation to hold tbe next meeting in Dallas was ex tended by the local chamber of commerce but decision was held under advisement. Tbe following made the trip: H. M. Meade, B. I.
