Fresh eggs have ranged lower dur ing the past week, extras closing at 51 cents or 2 centa under last week. Standard cubes advanced a half cent In the fresh butter market to 52 ccnlH. Other grades of cubes held steady at former quotations. Country dressed meats ruled quiet with 16 cents the general top on both choice veal and pork. Saturday finds some of the largest coinmbwtion firms with turkeys still on hand. The market is nominal end they will be disposed of today at the best offer for the lot. In all of these places It was her cuetom to enter into and aid in the community life as much as possible and Mrs. Riggs says she found opportunity to be of real community service In helping solve the problems that are en countered in all parts of the coun try at present. One of these prob lems Is that of keeping families together. Parents and children appear not to desire the same kinds ot entertainment, and tho result is that the families do not keep together. All Chautauqua' programs, however, brought out large audiences. Mrs. Riggs us ually spends about 10 days In a community. In the lyceum division 'if the work Mrs. Riggs will "make" larger cities than those covored by the winter festival circuit and expects to reach some of the col lego aud university points where part of her work will be among students.
