Mr. Budd wis her only the few minutes that the Oregon Electric train stopped at the depot. Mr. Budd 'il he was not fam iliar with the ef.'orts now being made here to establish the flax In dustry, but the questions he ask ed about It indicated that he knew considerable, about flax In general. Ho wanted to know about the acre age and whether the flax grown here was of the long-fibre variety Mr. Budd arrived on the 4 o' clock train from the south. Word had been received earlier In the day that he and his party would come from Corvallis by automobile but their plan were changed be cause of a desire t look over Ore gon Electric properties en route. Mr. Budd will return here Thurs day of this week and expects to spend several hours in the city. He exnects to arrive about noon. Moon, pathologist of the Indiana university school of modicr.e conducted the autoposy Mias Oberholtzer died last week from poison self-administered fol lowing alleged attacks by Stephen son. Stephenson, Earl Klinck and Earl Gentry, indicted on first de cree murder charges in connection with Miss Oherholtzer's death arc held without bond. A verdict was found for the plaintiff for $306 by a jury Monday night In the case of O. E. Llerman of Hills boro vs. C. J. Crook of Dallas. The case grew out of the sale or trade about four years ago when Mr. Crook secured a community gro cery store in Dallas and other property at Hilleboro.
